According to the latest statistics from the UN Refugee Agency in 2020, there are more than 70 million people in the world today who are forced to become refugees due to wars, conflicts, violence, and persecution.

However, in the United States, because of the pressure of the Trump administration ’s immigration policy, thousands of refugees along the US-Mexico border were forced to stay at the Tijuana border to wait for asylum procedures. During the time that refugees stay in the US-Mexico border, they experienced many violations such as violence, robbery, and kidnapping, which caused the refugees to face the personal safty issues again.

Now because of the outbreak of the epidemic, the problems of border refugees’ safety and health protection have attracted the attention of many international humanitarian organizations, citizen lawyers, and major Western media. We noticed that there are many worldwise medias reported on the issues, but there is no Chinese media is paying attention to such world issues and the worries of the epidemic.

We were the first Asian non-profit organization go to the US-Mexico border to film and report. The chaotic dilapidated and extremely poor living environment in the border refugee camps is beyond the imagination of the people living in a happy country.

We hope that we can gather a share of the power of everyone in the world to contribute the hope for the refugees who are eager to live and work in peace.
